Yours is not built yet.

Every car leaves this shop specified by the person who is going to drive it. Color, stance, pipes, the stitching on the seat you will actually sit in — the list below is the conversation, in the order it happens.

A Backdraft Cobra, the specification the steps below describe

    Model

    RT4 or RT4 GT Classic or Blackout This is where it begins.

  2. 02

    Body and color

    Paint, stripes, and whether the car wears them at all.

  3. 03

    Wheels

    Satin, polished or powder coated in custom colors. Your choice.

  4. 04

    Exhaust

    Side pipes or rear, polished, stainless or ceramic. Get ready to rumble.

  5. 05

    Interior

    Upholstery, stitching, gauges, steering wheel. The part you are actually sitting in.

After it is yours.

The people who build your Cobra are the ones who look after it — the tune-ups, the service, and getting it where it needs to go.

    Tune-up and service

    These are not cars a general workshop sees twice a year. Setup, carburetion, cooling, brakes and the annual going-over, done by people with your car's own build sheet open in front of them.

    Transportation

    Enclosed transport to the shop, to an event, or to a new owner. The car does not arrive on an open trailer behind somebody's pickup.
